This beautiful apartment is a perfectly peaceful place
to stay amidst the hustle and bustle of the Edinburgh city. Located in
the centre of this fashionable area of Edinburgh along a cobbled lane
approximately 10 minute walk to Princes St (see
map), this spacious, ground floor apartment is entered through a pretty
country garden unusual in the middle of town but a great place to unwind
after a busy day sight seeing or shopping. There are some fabulous art
galleries, restaurants and shops all in the locality and the retail attraction
of George St and Princes St are only 2 minutes away. A shoppers or sightseers
paradise there are a plethora of Edinburgh attractions, restaurants and
bars on your doorstep. Guests who have a laptop can also enjoy a free
broadband connection either through the supplied cable or by wifi.
Accommodation
The emphasis of this apartment is on spacious comfort. You enter the apartment through a double door leading into a vestibule for discarding your umbrella and coats. This leads into the large sitting room. The space and tranquillity of the apartment provides a soothing balm to the excitement of the city.
Sitting Room
This room is beautifully appointed to create a comfortable and functional living space. There is a large sofa and 2 armchairs to relax in after a busy day. There is a TV with 30 digital channels, DVD player and a selection of DVDs are available for your enjoyment. One large shuttered window give this room fabulous natural light
There is an adjoining room between the lounge and the kitchen which has a single bed to be used for a sixth person or as the office during your stay.

This large kitchen is spacious yet functional and is a great place to sit and chat over the days activities or plans for the following day. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, gas hob and oven, microwave oven, cutlery and crockery for up to 6 people. There is plenty of space for storage and worktop area for the most ambitious of chefs. There is a large window to the kitchen with a window seat. The dining table will seat 6 comfortably. Through the door off the kitchen is a large utility room with ironing area washing machine etc.

Located at the back of the building this quiet spacious, carpeted bedroom contains a king size bed with a shower room ensuite. It has plenty of space for all luggage. There is a simplicity to this room which makes it a comfortable place for rest.
